Candle Workshops

• Each participant will be provided with all the required candle making materials to make a 355ml (12oz) candle to take home.
• The duration of our workshop is 2 hours.
• Each participant will receive a 10% off unique coupon code that can be used for your next purchase.

We offer customized labels pertaining to your workshop for an additional $1/label. This includes one free revision draft of the design. 

~ WHAT TO DO WHILE WE WAIT FOR OUR CANDLE 

Our candles need about 30 minutes to reach a semi-solid state in order to take it home safely. During this time, we can offer Q&A's, colouring materials for customizable labels for adults/kids, catering from a local vendor, and more.

This is also a great opportunity to mingle, a team-building activity, open up presents, have some play time for the kids workshops, or anything else you might have planned for your event outside of the workshop. We can work together to utilize this time!

Here are some things that have been done during our past workshops:

• Corporate Holiday Party - Participants enjoyed refreshments and mingled while designing their own bags with their New Years resolutions.
• Spa-Themed Birthday Party (All-Ages) - Participants went on to get their hair, makeup and nails done.
• Grade 1-3 Entrepreneur Class Workshop - We organized a presentation that surrounded the entrepreneur experience behind Elisa Candles, and then proceeded with a Q&A that the kids had prepared questions for.
• Kids Workshop - The kids created their own candle label using art supplies we provide.
• Valentine's/Galentine's Day Workshop - Participants enjoyed some music, refreshments and appetizers.
• Bachelorette Party - Participants engaged in a Jeopardy game about the Bride, while refreshments and appetizers were served.

We come to you! We will host our workshop wherever is most convenient for you. 

If you do not have a space, we will work with you on where to best host the event through our connections.

Please note that additional rental charges may apply based on the location.

Note: All participants will need to sign a Candle Workshop Agreement prior to beginning the workshop. If the participants are minors, we require their Guardian to sign on their behalf. If the agreements are not signed, the participant will not be able to partake in the workshop. Agreements are encouraged to sign electronically to save paper.

Payment Policy

We require a deposit of 50% of your total in order to lock in the workshop's date and time. The remaining balance is due no later than 1 day after the workshop, otherwise a 2% charge will be applied each day until the full payment has been received.

Additional Items/Services Policy

Please note that we are not responsible for providing additional items/services outside of our candle making workshop materials and equipment, unless specifically discussed.

Late Policy

The workshop will start exactly at the agreed scheduled time. Please aim to be on time as it will affect the timeline of your candle reaching it's semi-solid state in order to bring it home safely.

Cancellation Policy

We require 96 hours notice for cancellation. To cancel or reschedule your workshop, please email us at info@elisacandles.ca.

Safety Policy

Our workshops are safely guided under the direct supervision of our experienced candle makers. We will reassure our participants of the safety hazards, and take precautions during our workshops. We expect everyone to abide by our safety guidelines. In the case someone disobeys these guidelines, we are not responsible for any injuries that may occur.

Photography Policy

Throughout our workshops, will be taking photos and videos for promotional purposes, and we encourage you to as well. If you do not consent to having your photo taken, please let us know and we will be respectful of this.
