Parabens are chemically made preservatives, making beauty, grooming and other products to have a longer shel-life. Research shows that parabens can contribute to a host of problems related to hormones and fertility.

Phthalates are a class of chemicals used in almost everything, from household cleaners to children's toys. They "plasticize", or help substances become more durable.

Our soy + coconut wax blend is 100% plant-based, vegan and kosher. This premium wax is made from soy beans and organic coconut oil, giving it a longer burn for up to 85-180 hours.

It is a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to paraffin wax. A cleaner and much slower burn.

How to burn the perfect candle!

A common problem for candles is “tunneling,” a term for what happens when a candle only burns down its center, leaving wax residue on the edges of the container and creating a tunnel-like shape. After a while, this makes the candle nearly impossible to burn, as the wick can’t receive enough air to burn steadily, and is drowned out by melting wax above. While also being a waste of wax.

This can be easily avoided by allowing the wax to melt all the way out to the edges of its container. This will ensure that when your wax cools, the surface of the candle will remain even. Wax also has a “memory,” meaning it tends to follow the path of its last point of melting and cooling. Thus, burning a candle until the wax melts to its edges helps keep a consistent burn throughout the life of the candle.
